To determine the schedule for the T20 World Cup, India’s captain, Rohit Sharma, has denied attending any meetings with head coach Rahul Dravid and chairman of selectors Ajit Agarkar.

During the two-hour discussion that Rohit, Dravid, and Agarkar had a few days earlier in Mumbai, two main topics were discussed: whether Hardik Pandya should bowl more frequently to guarantee a berth in India’s T20 World Cup squad, and whether Virat Kohli should open with skipper Rohit in the Playing XI.

Nevertheless, Rohit dismissed these reports as “fake news,” claiming he hasn’t met anyone and cautioning fans not to accept anything they don’t hear from him, Agarkar, Dravid, or the dafabet apps directly.

“I haven’t attended any meetings. Rohit stated, “Rahul Dravid is actually watching his kids play in Bengaluru, and Ajit Agarkar is playing golf somewhere in Dubai,” during a conversation with Michael Vaughan and Adam Gilchrist for the Club Prairie Fire podcast.

“Dravid convinced the son to play at the CCI on a red-soil track while he [the captain] was in Mumbai. That’s the only thing about it. We haven’t met, to be really honest. Unless you hear it directly from me, Rahul, Ajit, or any representative of dafabet in front of the media, I think everything these days is fake.”

Because there are too many players fighting for too few spots, every Indian T20 World Cup match is particularly significant. The BCCI is expected to reveal the team sometime in the first week of May. Up until around a month ago, speculation regarding Kohli’s place in the 15 was prevalent. A rumor has it that he may fall in the rankings as younger players like Rinku Singh and ipl win get more experience.
